Escape from the International Quilt Festival

"Help!! PaMdora and I are being held prisoner by a mysterious force field!"

Just kidding, I think it's some sort of tape barrier that is used to surround all the quilts at the International Quilt Festival going on in Houston right now, I suppose to keep the hoards from getting a little too touchy.

We're home now, and suffering a little art-overload after doing double duty of seeing all of the festival and visiting about eight museums in Houston also. I have loads of photos, so much it will take time to organize.

After one more short trip tomorrow, I hope to get caught up on posting and all the emails I've been ignoring!

Hey, they awarded you a ribbon that looks good with the colors of your quilt - cool! :-)

Congrats on winning an award. Looking forward to hearing more when you've had time to rest and recover from the journey.

Very cool, Pam. You and PamDora are lovely. It was nice to see you next to one of your pieces (for scale, we all love scale). As usual, I really appreciate your work. It is so unique. How brown-nose and bland is that comment? Well, you know that I truly mean it. I just can't think of more accurate words at the moment.

I love it! It looks great on exhibit like that! I am always surprised by how large your pieces actually are. I guess that's what happens when we're used to seeing the pics on your blog! LOL!

Pam,

You post a photo of yourself with your ribbon-worthy quilt. You show yourself and the other winners...

YOU NEVER TELL US WHAT THE RIBBON MEANS AND WHAT YOU WON!!

Ok, I figured out you weren't the biggest winner in the viking challenge... but you were??
